Individual Tutoring Procedures
1. Tutors are available during all hours of ARC operation.
2. Simply go to the ARC to obtain a tutoring schedule or look on the Student Portal of CAMS.
3. The tutoring schedule will list the tutor’s name and areas of specialty.
4. Once you have located a tutor on the schedule who can help you with your needs, simply go to the ARC at that time and ask for help.
5. If there is no one on the list who can help with your need, contact Sherrell Wheeler, Associate Dean of Academic Services in the Library 10 or at swheeler@fpctx.edu.
6. If you need a Writing Coach you may contact Marcus Miers by coming by the ARC Lab or by emailing him at mmiers@fpctx.edu.
Group Tutoring Information and Procedure
1. If a group of students want to schedule a specific time, a study group can be formed in the same subject and level.
2. Determine a time when the group would like to meet, and notify Sherrell Wheeler, Associate Dean of Academic Services, in the Library #10 or at swheeler@fpctx.edu to see if a tutor can be found for the group.
