Our goal is to assist eligible students at FPC by helping them succeed in school, complete a degree program and advance to a graduate program or a meaningful career track. We have a fantastic staff that is ready to help and assist you. All of our services are free of charge.

What is TRiO

TRiO is an educational opportunity program that serves 160 students per semester.  The program is for low-income, first generation, or disabled students.  TRiO is designed to help students succeed academically, socially, and professionally.

Students in the TRiO Program have access to mentors and tutoring in all subject areas.  Mentoring and tutoring is provided to all TRiO students as a free service.

TRiO students also have the opportunity to participate in various academic and personal enrichment seminars including:  Time Management, Study Skills, Budgeting Personal Finances, Applying for Financial Aid, and Improving Test Taking Skills.

Participants will experience a new adventure with the fun and exciting TRiO social and cultural events.  The goal of TRiO is to help students overcome economic, social, academic, and cultural barriers to higher education.
